Bedroom Creativity on a Sunday Morning (weekly photo challenge: boundaries)

Hers or mine? [Weekly Photo Challenge: (Boundaries)

There’s no such thing as a quick blog. Given my commitment to #postaday this year, I have to admit I am on the alert and receptive to any idea for a fast post. So far, I have dismally failed. I love including imagery, and the whole business of uploading, annotating, editing is often more work than a few hundred words. So when I saw the challenge yesterday for a weekly photography project, I should have realised this would not be a prompt start to Sunday even if I had rolled out of bed at the crack of dawn.

I still did it though. The challenge was the theme of barriers. My personal challenge was to find images on the theme inspired by my bedroom. And more particularly, images which could be taken by not actually getting out of bed. The results are an idiosyncratic interpretation of ‘boundaries’ but that’s art for you.

About gillianholding

I am a contemporary visual artist living and working in Leeds fascinated and inspired by the absurdity of the world I live in and observe around me. I have this idea that if I can document my experiences and insights (such as they are) by every means possible then maybe, just maybe, I can make some sense of it all.
