Sunday Selections: Paris in the Rain

Another Sunday, another set from the overlooked archive inspired by the Sunday Selections of Frogpondsrock.

Technology moves quickly. It seems only yesterday that camera phones took postage-stamp sized images which couldn’t even be easily downloaded. No wonder these images were easily forgotten. This week’s trawl through the archive uncovered more ancient Sony Ericsson photos taken of Paris during a BateauBus journey along the River Seine on a very rainy day indeed. I was tempted to enlarge them, but somehow their miniaturised size is part of the charm.

Thank you; I must admit that the first time i saw just how small these old photos were, i was quite shocked. Then i remembered the appeal of old photos from the thirites, equally tiny, but it is a bit ironic that something so relatively recent should have such small dimensions!
