This week’s Photo Challenge (which I haven’t done for months, let alone weeks) is on the theme of waiting.
So the first image (above) is taken from last night’s final of the RNCM International Violin Competition. An entire auditorium quietly waiting for the judges to return and announce their decision. All eyes fixed on the vacated orchestra, and the anticipatory row of empty judges’ chairs.
Youngest Daughter on sales duty at the local community books and craft fair. I would love to be able to say things livened up and she became frantically busy marketing my new book. There’s still a good half hour to go. Things may well liven up.
