Spring Sprung

Apologies for uploading a large image. I just wanted to post the detail of the blossom.

Spring seems to be taking its time to appear this year. The snowdrops were late. There are no daffodils in sight. But at last, at last, the first signs of blossom in our road.

It’s not the most breathtaking of blossom. The flowers are small -grudging- and an insipid off-white. The background twigs are grey-sludge brown. But it’s there, a sign of the changing seasons.

Everything is now poised to change.
